What is Redner`s story?
Mary and Earl Redner decided to open 2 supermarkets in Reading, PA in 1970. They opened their first store on the opposite side of the city. During this time there were many other grocery stores, but not as much competition.
In 1975, they decided to open up their second store in Muhlenberg Township. This store was met with lots of success, and by the end of 1977, there were over 80 stores throughout Pennsylvania.
