What is the history of Walgreens?
Walgreens was founded in 1901 by Charles R. Walgreen, Sr. as a small neighborhood drug store on the corner of Bowen Ave and Cottage Grove in Chicago, Illinois. By 1913, Walgreens had grown to four stores on Chicago’s South Side.
