History
1974, Tuesday morning, began here. In 1998 it expanded to 330 stores in 35 states, and in 2001 it rose to 41 states and 441.
The Becker Drapkin Management LP hedge fund purchased 6,6% of its shares in June 2012, allowing it to take over the Board of Directors.
On June 7, 2012, CEO Kathleen Mason had been fired from the sales company due to the criticism (the organization was doing badly under her leadership).
The business was promoted to the President and CEO by Michael Marchetti on that day. The interim CEO was Marchetti, too. In May 2013, Tuesday morning, Mason was charged with prejudice for alleging that her breast cancer diagnosis resulted in her termination.
